ABOUT ME

I’m Brooklyn Jade, a tattoo artist in my twenties, known for my bold, graphic design-inspired pieces and intricate line work. With a background in graphic design, I bring a fresh perspective to the tattoo scene. Living with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which affects my connective tissue and makes my skin and joints more fragile, presents unique challenges in my work. Despite this, I use my experiences to create stunning, unique art. I work closely with my clients to transform their ideas into eye-catching tattoos, ensuring each design is personal and meaningful.

Ehlers Danlos Syndrome

Living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) has a profound impact on my daily life. One of the most challenging aspects is dealing with joint issues; I often experience dislocations and chronic pain, which make even simple activities like walking or cooking difficult. I have to be careful with everything I do to avoid injuries. Managing fatigue is another struggle, as I often feel exhausted, which complicates my ability to stay active or keep up with daily tasks.

Moreover, the mental strain of navigating a physically demanding environment can lead to increased anxiety and stress. Balancing the artistry of tattooing with the limitations of EDS requires careful planning and self-care. I’ve learned the importance of building a support network and finding strategies for pain management, but every day still presents new challenges that require careful navigation.
